"It's been almost three years since I started my journey with dogs. At first, I just wanted an Akita, but that dream slowly grew even bigger. The first one to come into my life was Narumi, and through her, I got acquainted with the world of dog shows. It was during this time that the idea of having a pair of Akitas crossed my mind. "At Akitahungary, everything is in one place and of the highest quality! We first contacted Marcsi regarding buying a dog, and right away, we felt that fate had led us to the best place. From the first phone call, we were in constant communication, she promptly answered all our questions, and kept us informed about the puppies. Among our first questions was also about boarding options if we were to go away for a few days or weeks. The answer was reassuring because she offers this service as well! During our first trip (2 weeks), we received pictures and videos every 2-3 days showing what Sora was up to, who she was playing with. It also turned out that grooming would not be a problem later on, as she also takes care of that. So every 6 weeks, our little Akita always comes home as if she had been replaced (not to mention the scent). And that's not all: as we know, socialization is extremely important for dogs, i.e., interaction, encounters, and play with other dogs. That's why we also take Sora to daycare once a week, where we also receive photos or videos of her. We can only recommend her because besides having serious expertise, she performs her work with great humility and love, from the birth of the puppies, through boarding and daycare, to grooming."

In 2019, I founded Akitahungary Dog Boarding & Grooming, with the fundamental goal of caring for and ensuring the comfort of dogs. I am not just a dog boarding facility, but a comprehensive center dedicated to the beauty and health preservation of dogs. I personally groom my own dogs, prepare them for shows, and train them for competitions. Additionally, I hold a certification in canine rehabilitation training, allowing me to assist in the training and rehabilitation of dogs. When grooming, I use high-quality products that ensure the health and beauty of the dogs. My aim is to treat every dog with love and care so they can live a happy and healthy life.
Akita Inu Standard
GENERAL APPEARANCE
A large-sized, solidly built, well-balanced dog with substantial bone, emphasized by secondary sexual characteristics, displaying grandeur and modest lordly attributes, possessing a robust constitution.
IMPORTANT PROPORTIONS
The ratio of height at withers to body length is 10-11, with females having slightly longer bodies than males.
HEAD
The size of the skull is in proportion to the body. The forehead is broad, clearly defined with a distinct stop and clean furrow, but without wrinkles. The cheeks are moderately developed, with a straight, large, black nose bridge. In specimens with white fur, a reddish coloring of the nose is permissible. The muzzle is moderately long and strong, with a broad base that tapers towards the tip, though not pointed. Strong teeth with a scissor bite. Tight-fitting lips.
